Are the under armour national baseball tryouts a scam?

I received a letter telling me to call ASAP and when I called I was told that players were picked based off of recommendations from coaches and scouting reports. I wanted to know if these letters were sent to most high school baseball players or just hand-picked ones and if it was worth it to go. If you have had prior experience tell me your story.
I don’t play legion baseball so I can’t figure out how I was found. Also, I just turned 15 about 20 days ago and I’m going to be a sophomore next year. I currently throw 81-82 with both types of fastballs and a curveball, slider, and a change-up. Do you think there is any shot I will get noticed at this tryout
